Pink Tee takes a unique approach to girls’ golf fashion. The company is the brainchild of Entrepreneurs & Golfers Amy Wisehart & Misti Snow. Coming into the golf world in 2006, both girls quickly noticed the void in fashion in the girls’ golf marketplace.
The Pink Tee vision started in December, 2006. An action plan to design the 1st Pink Tee line followed closely after. New to the design industry, the girls began ripping up & sewing together trendy clothing to recreate golf–inspired looks that were young & relevant to current fashion. The result was a new look for the youth–minded, female golfer.
Although the line is designed to fit course dress codes, it is anything but traditional. It’s a mix & match concept with couture detailing. The fit is designed true–to–size for comfort & functionality.
Quality leads the Pink Tee vision. The designs that “make the cut” must pass the Pink Test: Is it relevant to today’s fashion trends? Can it easily be matched with other pieces? Do the couture details make the piece unique? Can it be worn all day & still look & fit great? If the answers are yes, the new design is a–go.
“Our clothes are inspired by local and international trends. The design–focus is on comfort & functionality. But by also adding customized details to comfortable pieces we are able to reinvent athletic basics into couture sportswear”, said Snow.
“We took notes during our rounds. We noted the details that were missing in golf apparel & we incorporated them into the line. The tee holders, fabrics & fit were all inspired by challenges we had with our current golf wear”, Wisehart added.
Pink Tee’s forward thinking is creating a distinct buzz in the golf & fashion marketplace. The designs & brand embody fashion, function & fun. Pink Tee will continue to evolve with the trends that appeal to the youth–minded female golfer for seasons to come.
